|[List Roster] Details: (Event ID = 2974) This workshop is primarily geared towards K-12 Crisis Team Members to include but not limited to: teachers, related school service personnel, SRO's, support staff and administrators. Teams will participate in preparing for, addressing issues during the event, and the aftermath of a critical incident. Our instructors will work with attendees and assist them with proper preparation (reviewing policy, secondary staging locations, media concerns, etc) for the incident, understanding and handling the incident itself (realistic training, preparing the classrooms, "run hide fight theory", lock down authority, etc) and dealing with the aftermath (social workers, release of children, identification of victims, review of previous critical school incidents, etc). Teams should bring along crisis plans, school maps or any related emergency preparedness materials and resources.|
